People are wired to notice what goes wrong, what could be a threat, and what is missing. It’s what saved us during our evolution, in times of danger and scarcity.

What has the #MeToo movement on social media to do with organizational culture? It's a great example of a social movement trying to change a culture, starting with what I call "Interaction Interventions".

Does your organization have a strong, homogeneous culture? Is that desirable? Does everyone hold the same values, beliefs, priorities, norms, preferences? Does everyone eat the same lunch menu every day?
